I’ve always been drawn to how systems work, how data moves through them, and how patterns beneath the surface can explain real business outcomes. My background started at the intersection of business, Information Systems, and statistics, where I learned to think both technically and strategically, not just about what the data shows but why it matters.

Over time, I’ve realized that data science isn’t just about having the best model or the most efficient code. But it’s about connecting business strategy with real-world applications to create a new, innovative solution.

Through my Master’s in Business Analytics at Cal Poly and professional experience working with enterprise data at the largest talent agency in the world, I’ve applied analytics and data science across real business problems in marketing, people analytics, entertainment, finance, and healthcare. At Salesforce, I worked with real employee data to predict churn and better understand the factors that influence retention. At Claritas, I worked on advanced AI-driven solutions involving large volumes of text data, applying analytics to uncover patterns and support business decisions. What draws me most to data science is that it can be applied across almost any domain, creating endless opportunities to learn new subjects, understand complex systems, and turn seemingly meaningless information into practical insights.
